Hello, I'm Lorraine Brennan, the driving force behind Paws and Claws. We offer dog walking, cat visits, boarding for small animals, poultry care and a pet taxi, for animal lovers in West Yorkshire. I realise how difficult it can be to strike a balance between work commitments and time spent with your pets. Animals require plenty of exercise and attention, and it can be difficult to meet their needs with our hectic working lifestyles.

As an animal lover myself, I understand how stressful leaving your pet at home alone can be - for both of you. After several years of working in unsatisfying jobs, I have  decided to spend my time doing what I love - caring for animals.

Our house has been host to a whole range of animals over time. At present, we have Maisie, a Cocker Spaniel who seems to be attached to my hip, Kitty the cat, a budgie called Buddy, a lovebird called Pippin, a rabbit called Hugsy, five hens and a  goldfish! I've had plenty of hands-on experience looking after all kinds of animals.

I want to be able to help other animal lovers achieve peace of mind, by leaving their dog, cat or other furry friend in capable hands.
